The Divine Call to Unity

Shema Ha'ahuvim -Hear My Beloved, Listen!

"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One," Deuteronomy 6:4

The Hebrew word Echad (אֶחָד) means "oneness" and emphasizes a unified entity or a collective unity. In the famous Shema Prayer Deuteronomy 6:4, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One," the use of "Echad" signifies God's profound, connected unity, as found in contexts like "husband and wife" becoming "one flesh".  

The Lord's heartfelt prayer to the Father, "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."  John 17:20-21

The Divine Call to Unity

As we enter the Hebrew Year 5786, a year marked by the letter Vav, being the divine connector between heaven and earth. We are called to a deeper and intimate oneness with God the Father and with one another. This is not merely a suggestion but a divine mandate from God's throne. The Father and Son exist in perfect unity, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are invited into this blessed and sacred communion.

The Power of Divine Connection

The Vav represents the nail that connects two separate entities, making them one. In this prophetic year of communing and connection, we must recognize that our strength comes not from individual effort but from being firmly anchored to the divine.

There is no room for isolation in the Kingdom of God. When we stand alone, we are vulnerable prey to the enemy's attacks. But when we are tightly knitted and joined together with Christ and His body, we become an unshakable force moving mightily in the earth, for His glory.

Demonstrations of His Spirit and Power

"And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstrations of the Spirit and of power."  1 Corinthians 2:4

The Decade of Peh, the mouth calls us to more than mere words. In this pivotal year 5786, our declarations must be accompanied by demonstrations of God's power. The world doesn't need more eloquent speakers; it needs sacred and holy vessels whereby the supernatural power of God can freely flow.

As we align ourselves with The Father through prayer and obedience, we become conduits of His divine authority. Signs, wonders, and miracles should follow those who believe, not as exceptions but as the expected norm for the beloved children of the Most High God.

No Room for Compromise

"Therefore, you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."  Matthew 5:48

The standard has been set by God Himself, perfection. Not perfection by human standards, which is impossible, but perfection through Christ's finished work on the cross and our yielding wholly to His Spirit. There is no room for excuses or compromise in this critical hour.

The letter Vav not only connects but radically transforms, changing the past to future and future to past. In this year of divine connection, the Father will be transforming our weaknesses into strength, our failures into powerful testimonies, and our brokenness into joy and beauty.

The Pursuit of Peace and Holiness

"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord."  Hebrews 12:14

Holiness is not optional for the children of God, it is crucial. Without holiness, we cannot see the Lord, nor can the world see Him in us. In this year of sacred communing, our pursuit of holiness must be relentless and unwavering.

The Father's recent instruction is clear: "Maintain your honesty with purity and integrity!" This threefold command forms the foundation of true holiness:

• Honesty in all of our dealings, speaking truth even when it costs us.

• Purity in our thoughts, motives, and actions, keeping ourselves unspotted and untainted from the world.

• Integrity in our heart and character, being the same person in private just as we are in public.

Establishing His Kingdom on Earth

As we enter this prophetic year marked by the Vav, the divine connector, we are called to be kingdom-establishers. Through our unity with God the Father as His beloved children in oneness with Christ Jesus our Lord and King who has presented us to the Father, as kings and priests unto God, we are to be busy about the Father’s work, which is all kingdom minded as we establish His kingdom on earth, so that His will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. All for the blessing and honor, power and glory of Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever, Amen.

The Fall Feasts of 5786 as Rosh Hashanah has come to an end we next focus on, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot,  which will provide divine appointments for renewal, repentance, and rejoicing. These are not mere religious observances but strategic opportunities to align ourselves with the Father’s will, plans and purposes in the coming season.

A Prayer for Oneness

Our Father who art in Heaven we come boldly before Your throne of Grace in the mighty Name of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Yeshuah Ha Mashiach, Jesus our Messiah and Lord answering Your call to oneness with heartfelt love and adoration with You, Abba, Father and Christ Jesus, as well as with one another.

Like the Vav that connects heaven and earth, make us bridges of Your presence in a disconnected world. By Your Spirit, purify our hearts and minds, sanctify our speech, and anoint our hands to have good success in all that we seek to do, as we move mightily in oneness with You Abba, Father with demonstrations of Your Spirit and power, even with signs and wonders following us as we walk this straight and narrow path with you Lord, fulfilling Your great commission with glory and honor unto Your great Name.

Father, we reject compromise and any excuses, embracing instead Your standard of holiness and perfection through Christ Jesus. Help us Holy Spirit, to maintain honesty, purity, and integrity in all our ways; And may our unity be so compelling that the world will know we are Yours, Father, by our love for one another.

Use us as vessels of Your glory Lord in this pivotal year, establishing Your kingdom purposes on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Christ Jesus, to You do we fervently pray Abba, Father. Amen
