"A Journey into the Heart of Eternal Oneness"

An Invitation to Abide in His Presence
Beloved,
What if I told you that the God of the Universe is preparing a bath especially for you? Not just any bath, but a heart-shaped sanctuary filled with the fragrance of heaven, adorned with the roses of His affection, illuminated by the candlelight of His glory. A sacred place where you can soak, not for mere moments, but for eternity. A place where purification becomes pleasure, where preparation becomes union, where you discover that His greatest desire is simply... you.
This is not a metaphor. This is reality.
The King is preparing His Bride. And you are invited to enter the purification process that leads not just to a moment of presentation, but to an eternity of dwelling in oneness with Him, surrounded by His love, saturated in His glory, intoxicated by His holy presence.
Will you come?
Part One: The Heart Examination
"Search me, O God, and know my heart" Psalm 139:23
Before Esther could be presented to the king, she had to undergo preparation. Twelve months of purification. Six months with the oil of myrrh, which is a burial spice, the dying to self oil. Then another six months with perfumes and cosmetics for the beautification that comes only after the death of the old nature.
And here is the beautiful truth: the purification is not punishment, It is love.
The King doesn't demand perfection before you come. He invites you into a process where HIS perfect love purifies you, where HIS holy presence transforms you, where soaking in HIS goodness makes you ready; not through striving, but through surrendering.
Reflection Questions:
What would it look like to stop trying to "fix yourself" and instead allow Him to purify you in the bath of His perfect love?
Where have you been striving beloved, when He's been lovingly wooing and inviting you to come and soak?
What does your heart need to release into His hands today?
An Invitation to Pause:
Close your eyes beloved and imagine yourself standing at the edge of that heart-shaped bath. The water is warm and the fragrance is heavenly. Rose petals float on the surface as Lavender fills the air.
Can you hear Him?
"Come, beloved. The water is ready. I have prepared this just for you."
He's not examining your heart to condemn you. He's examining it because He wants to FILL it. Every crack, every wound, every hidden place, He wants to pour His love into it until you overflow.
Will you let Him?
Part Two: The Oils of Preparation
"You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows" Psalm 23:5
There is something profoundly intimate about anointing oil. It requires touch. It requires time. It requires trust. Esther didn't just take a quick shower and rush to meet the king. She soaked and she soaked. She allowed the oils to penetrate deep into her skin, into the essence of her very being. The myrrh which speaks of death and surrender. The perfumes to enhance the sweet smelling aroma of beauty and delight.
And it was here that I've discovered in my own journey, beloved: "when you soak in His presence long enough, you stop smelling like the world and exude the fragrance of heaven, the sweet aroma of life."
The Sacred Oils of Intimacy:
Frankincense: The oil of worship and priesthood
When you soak in worship, you carry the fragrance of His throne room
Your very life becomes an offering that rises like incense before Him
Myrrh: The oil of suffering and surrender
When you die to self, you release a fragrance that pleases Him
Brokenness becomes the perfume that draws His heart
Lavender: The oil of peace and rest
When you cease from striving and simply abide, His peace saturates you
You become a resting place for His presence
Cassia: The oil of humility and service
When you embrace the lowest place, you carry the scent of Christ
Servanthood becomes beautiful when bathed in His love
Olive Oil: The oil of the Holy Spirit
When you're saturated in His Spirit, you flow with supernatural power
Anointing becomes your natural state, not a special event
Personal Testimony:
Just this week, in day 5 of my fast, I found myself literally soaking in olive oil infused with white lavender, traces of vanilla and cassia. Not as a religious ritual but as an act of worship. As I lay in that bath, surrounded by heavens sweet fragrance and candlelight, I heard Him whisper:
"This is what I've been doing in your spirit. You think you're just taking a bath? No, beloved. You're experiencing in the natural what I've been doing in the supernatural. I am purifying you. I am beautifying you. I am preparing you. Not for a moment but indeed for eternity. I am making you ready to dwell in oneness with Me, where My love and glory eternally surrounds you always."
And I realized: "I am intoxicated. I am drunk in His sweet love."
This is not excessive. This is biblical.
"Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" Ephesians 5:18
The Greek word for "filled" here means to be saturated, permeated, intoxicated. God doesn't want you tipsy—He wants you DRUNK on His presence! So saturated that you stagger with glory. So filled that you speak differently, act differently, love differently. BECOME A PECULIAR ONE INDEED! AMEN.
Application:
What would it look like for YOU to create a "soaking space"?
Perhaps a corner of your home with candles and worship music
Perhaps a specific time each day to simply sit and soak in His presence without any agenda
Perhaps using actual fragrant oils or baths as a physical reminder of a holy spiritual saturation
Perhaps fasting from distractions to feast on the beauty of His face and love
The goal is notactivity. The goal is SATURATION.
You're not trying to earn His love beloved through spiritual practices. You're positioning yourself to RECEIVE the love that's already pouring out. You're creating a sacred space for the oils of heaven to penetrate deep into your spirit, soul, and body.
Part Three: The Time of Preparation
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven" Ecclesiastes 3:1
Here's what frustrates so many believers: the WAITING.
Esther had to wait twelve months. Twelve! A full year of preparation before she could be presented to the king.
But here's the truth that will set you free: the preparation IS the presentation.
Every moment you spend soaking in His presence, you're being presented to Him. Every hour you spend in worship, He's gazing upon you with delight. Every day you choose to abide rather than perform, you're fulfilling the very purpose for which you were created.
The Beauty of Process:
God could instantly make you perfect. He could snap His fingers and transform you completely. But He doesn't. Why?
Because the journey of transformation IS the intimacy He so desires.
Think about it: when Esther was soaking in oils, do you think the king was standing right outside the door tapping his foot impatiently? Crying out... "Come on and hurry up! I have a kingdom to run!"
No! He GAVE her time. He PROVIDED all the oils for her. He PREPARED the attendants. Because he wanted her refreshed and ready and not rushed, anxious or striving; but beautiful, radiant, ever so confident in his love.
The same is true with your Heavenly King.
He's not frustrated with your process. He's ENJOYING every moment of it. He loves watching you discover His goodness. He delights in your "aha" moments when divine revelation breaks through. He treasures these precious and sacred moments when you simply just rest in His arms without saying a word.
The preparation is the gift.
Where Are You Beloved in the Process?
Are you in the "myrrh months" the season of dying to self, of surrender, of releasing what you thought you needed?
This is hard. Myrrh burns. It's used for embalming. It speaks of death. But oh, beloved, what beauty emerges when you die to self! When you stop protecting your reputation, your comfort, your plans and desires and simply say, "Not my will, but Yours LORD" something radically shifts. And then you too begin to smell just like Jesus. And there is no fragrance more pleasing to the Father., than the sweet aroma of Christ Jesus. Are you in the "perfume months" the season of beautification, of discovering exactly who you are in Him, of being adorned with His glory?
This is joyful! This is when you start seeing the fruit of your surrender. This is when worship becomes natural, and His presence feels like home. When you catch little glimpses in the mirror and realize: "I don't look like I used to. I'm starting to even look like Him."
Or perhaps you're in the "presentation moment" when everything you've prepared for suddenly manifests, when the door opens, and the King invites you in?
Don't rush where you are to get where you think you should be.
Trust in the process and just Soak in the moment. Let each season accomplish its complete work. Because here's the beautiful mystery: when the preparation is complete, the presentation happens naturally. Esther didn't have to force her way into the king's presence. She didn't have to market herself or compete with others. She simply showed up, fully preparedand fully anointed, ever so trusting and confident and the king's heart was captured. The same will be true for you too beloved.
Part Four: Living in Holy Desire
"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God" Psalm 42:1
Let's talk about something the modern church often avoids: holy desire.
We've become so afraid of emotionalism, so cautious about "going too far," that we've sanitized our relationship with God into something polite, proper, and and utterly powerless.
But God never intended faith to be boring!
Just read the Song of Solomon.
Read the Psalms.
Read the passionate prayers of mystics throughout history. These are people who became UNDONE by God's perfect love. People who are lovesick for His presence. People who would rather die than live without Him! This is not emotionalism beloved this is Spirit and truth! This is to be our reality!!!
You were created for PASSION. You were designed for DESIRE. You were made to burn with holy fire, to be consumed with everlasting love for Him. To be so intoxicated and enraptured with His loving kindness and goodness that nothing else satisfies.
The Bride's Testimony Bears Witness:
"I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" Song of Solomon 6:3
There's a sacred exchange that happens in intimacy with God. You stop being a servant who works for Him and become a bride who dwells WITH Him. You stop trying to earn His approval and start enjoying the depths of His affection. You stop striving to be worthy and start receiving the worthiness He's so lovingly placed on you through Christ Jesus. It is in this place of belovedness, where holy desire awakens.
You don't desire Him out of obligation. You desire Him because HE IS DESIRABLE. You don't seek Him out of duty. You seek Him because HE IS BEAUTIFUL. You don't worship Him to get something from Him. You worship Him because being IN HIS PRESENCE is the great reward.
What Holy Desire Looks Like:
Waking at 3 AM because His presence is so thick you can't sleep and you don't want to!
Declining invitations because you'd rather spend precious time with Him
Fasting not as punishment but as pleasure because nothing tastes better than His sweetness
Worshiping in your car, in your kitchen, in the middle of the night, even while your sleeping because praise keeps bubbling up
Reading His Word not as obligation but as love letters and keepsakes of His promises
Talking to Him constantly throughout the day because He's become your best friend
This isn't fanaticism beloved, this is first love restored anew.
A Caution and An Invitation:
Let me be clear: holy desire is not based upon feelings. Some days you'll FEEL deeply. Some days you'll feel nothing. The desire I'm speaking of is deeper than emotion, it's a settled conviction in your spirit that He is your hearts greatest desire and treasure.
But neither should you suppress the feelings when they come! If your heart begins to overflow with love for Him, let it flow! If tears come during worship, let them fall! If joy bubbles up from deep within and you want to dance, dance beloved even as David danced for the Lord!
God is not embarrassed by your unbridled passion. It is He who AWAKENS it!
"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame" Song of Solomon 8:6
This is the love God has for you. And this is the love He wants you to taste and experience in Him.
Part Five: Abiding in Oneness
"That they may be one as We are one" John 17:22
Now we come to the heart of the matter: ONENESS.
This is not just unity. It's not just agreement and cooperation. Oneness is something far more deeper, and far more intimate and mysteriously powerful.
Oneness is when His thoughts begin to enter into your thoughts. When you begin to realize that He is making His desires to be made known so much so that yes they are becoming your desires too beloved. It is here in this divine and sacred moment that you are bearing witness of the truth that His heartbeat is beating in perfect rhythm with yours, and you can no longer distinguish from where His begins or yours ends as unbeknownst to you while you were soaking and being caught up in oneness with Him, God the Father has been working mightily in secret and all of heaven is rejoicing as the the two, you and Jesus have become as one, and what the Father has joined together, Hallelujah! No man can separate! This is where you discover your true identity, this is where you find yourself IN HIM.
This is what Jesus prayed for in John 17.
This is what Paul meant by "Christ in you, the hope of glory."
This is what it means to be hidden with Christ in God.
You don't just know ABOUT Him, You intimately KNOW Him.
You ABIDE in Him, because you are ONE with Him.
The Mystery of Union:
How does a finite human become one with an infinite God?
The same way a branch becomes one with a vine.
The same way a wife becomes one with a husband.
The same way a wave becomes one with the ocean.
Not by ceasing to exist, but by finding your TRUE existence in Him.
You don't lose yourself in God, this is where you FIND yourself. The real you. The you that was always meant to be. The you that's been hidden since before the foundation of the world, patiently waiting to be revealed in Christ. And here's the stunning truth: God has been patiently and quietly waiting for this oneness even longer than you have.
Before time began, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwelt in perfect oneness. Perfect love and Perfect Communion. Perfect delight in each other. And in that glorious and eternal wise counsel, They said: "Let Us make man in Our image."
Why? So They could SHARE that oneness with us, with you!
You were never meant to be a distant observer of God's love. You were meant to be INCLUDED in it! Caught up in the eternal dance of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Birthed into the family of God. Made a partaker of His divine nature.
This is not mysticism beloved, it is the manifestation of Scripture.
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me" Galatians 2:20 "For in him we live and move and have our being" Acts 17:28 "He who is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit" 1 Corinthians 6:17 "We are members of his body" (Ephesians 5:30)
What Oneness Changes:
Your identity: You're no longer trying to become something. You already ARE in Him.
Your security: You're no longer afraid of losing His love. You're IMMERSED in it.
Your purpose: You're no longer striving to do great things for God. You're simply living FROM the great thing He's already done IN you.
Your power: You're no longer working up faith. You're releasing the faith of the One who lives in you.
Your worship: You're no longer trying to reach up to Him. You're responding to the One who already dwells within you.
Your daily life: Every moment becomes sacred and holy, because you're aware of His presence within you, and moving mightily and through you always in oneness with you.
Part Six: Dwelling in His Love and Glory
"And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him" 1 John 4:16
Now, beloved, we come to the eternal dwelling place. This is not just about earth. This is not just about this lifetime. This is about FOREVER. God's ultimate intention is not just to visit you occasionally, not just to bless you when you pray, not just to help you in times of trouble.
His ultimate intention is to DWELL with you, and for you to dwell with Him for all eternity.
And here's the glorious truth: that eternity starts NOW.
You don't have to wait until heaven to experience dwelling in His love and glory. You can live in it right now. You can be surrounded by it, saturated in it and gloriously sustained by it right here and now, in the middle of your ordinary life.
What It Means to Dwell:
To dwell is different than to visit.Visitors come and go but dwellers stay.
Visitors are guests. Dwellers are FAMILY.
Visitors maintain a distance but dwellers are at home.
When you dwell in God's love, you're not constantly trying to earn it or keep it. You simply rest and abide in it. It becomes your atmosphere, your environment. The reality that you wake up and fall asleep in and live every second of your life in has now become God's house, His holy temple where you dwell in His glory. You are not chasing after anything, running here or there in search of some special experience or touch of God, You are living and abiding in oneness with Him in this house and temple that He created for yours and His good pleasure! Amen. When you dwell in oneness with Him in His glory, you're continuously aware of His weighty presence, His manifest goodness, and His tangible reality encompassing you.
This is the lifestyle He's inviting you into.
Not a life of peaks and valleys and occasional encounters followed by long seasons of drough, but a life of abiding in the joy and love of oneness together sustained by the power of His Spirit and unfailing love and sacred communion. It is an intimate oneness that cannot be divided nor broken but eternally cherished and sweetly savored forever and ever for His glory!
Surrounded by His Love:
Picture that heart-shaped bath again.
When you're in the water, surrounded on every side, you don't have to work to get wet. You just ARE. The water touches every part of your being, it supports you and envelopes you, as it gently refreshes you. This is what it's like to dwell in His love. You're not trying to conjure up good feelings about God. You're SURROUNDED by His affection. It's above you, and below you, around you and within you. You can't escape it even if you tried.
His love is not dependent on your performance. His love IS.
It's the very fabric of our reality. It's more real than the ground beneath your feet. More constant than the air you breathe. And when you learn to recognize it, receive it, and joyfully rest in it, then everything changes. You stop striving and fearing, comparing and performing and embrace just being. This is a life in oneness with Him always and forever, steadfast faithful and true.
Covered by His Glory:
But it's not just His love. It's His GLORY too.
The glory of God is the manifest weight of His presence. It's when the invisible becomes visible. When the spiritual becomes tangible. When heaven touches earth and you KNOW THAT YOU KNOW with every fiber of your being, that He is here with you and in you!
And here's what He's awesomely shown me: you were created to be a glory-carrier.
Not occasionally. Not just in church services. ALWAYS!
Moses came down from the mountain glowing because he'd been in God's presence. But you and I have something far more greater than Moses carried! We have the Spirit of the Living God dwelling mightily inside of us. We ARE as I stated earlier His temple where His glory fills us.
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord" 2 Corinthians 3:18
The more you behold Him, the more you will become just like Him. The more you soak in His presence, the more His glory saturates you, and you begin to naturally radiate what you've received.
I assure you people will definitely notice. They might not be able to explain it but they will sense something different about you. Something REAL. Something that begins to draws them too.
That's His glory, beloved. And it's meant to rest upon you—not just in special moments, but as your DWELLING PLACE.
Part Seven: The Lifestyle of Worship
"I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service" Romans 12:1
So how do we live this out practically?
How do we move from knowing about this life to LIVING this life?
We become a living tabernacle of worship and praise.
Not worship as an event we attend, but worship as a LIFESTYLE we embrace and embody.
What Worship As Lifestyle Looks Like:
In the morning: You wake up and your first thought is Him. Before checking your phone, before planning your day, before rushing into any activity, you pause and acknowledge His presence. Greet Him Good Morning and thank Him for His love. Invite Him into every precious moment of your day ahead. Throughout the day: Practice the presence of God. Acknowledge and talk to Him constantly, not in formal prayers, but in a continuous conversation just as casually as you would your best friend. A friend who's always with you, because He is always with you.
Joyfully offer every activity as worship. Cooking? Worship. Working? Worship. Driving? Worship. Even the mundane and little things become sacred when done in awareness of His presence and all for His glory.
In challenges:When difficulty comes, your first response should be to turn to Him, not in panic, but in trust. Because you DWELL in His love. You're not trying to reach up to a distant God; you're resting in the arms of the One who's faithfully upholding you.
In relationships: You love others FROM the overflow of His love for you. You're not trying to get love from people. You're GIVING the love you've received. And there's no shortage because His love is infinite.
In worship times: Whether in corporate gatherings or private moments, worship isn't something you work up, it's something that FLOWS OUT. Like a spring that can't help but bubble up. Like a river that must run.
In rest: Even your sleep becomes worship when you trust Him enough to truly rest. When you lay down in peace, knowing He watches over you. When you refuse anxiety and choose to dwell in the shelter of the Most High.
This is the lifestyle He's inviting you into.
My Personal Testimony:
For 63 years I've been in relationship with God. And I can tell you: the BEST is still unfolding!
I've just entered my tenth seven-year cycle of spiritual growth. And in this season, He's awakened me regularly between 3-5 AM—not as an alarm clock, but as an invitation into encounters that I wouldn't trade for anything.
These aren't random wake-ups. They're APPOINTMENTS. Divine moments when the veil is thinnest, when His presence is tangible, when He shares secrets with those who will rise to meet Him.
And what I've learned is this: when you make Him your priority, He makes you His dwelling place.
I don't seek encounters. I seek HIM. And in seeking Him, the encounters come. The glory manifests. The love overwhelms. The oneness deepens. This is available to you too, beloved. Not because you're special but Because HE is. And He plays no favorites. What He does for one, He'll do for all who hunger and thirst for Him.
Part Eight: The Sacred Invitation
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28
So here we are, beloved. You've read about purification and preparation. You've read about oils and intimacy. You've read about oneness and dwelling. You've read about worship as lifestyle and glory as atmosphere. But reading about it is not the same as LIVING it.
And so, I invite you—will you enter in?
Will you step into that heart-shaped bath? Will you allow Him to examine your heart, not to condemn, but to cleanse? Will you soak in His oils of preparation, not rushing the process, but trusting the transformation?
Will you kindle holy desire in your spirit? Will you stop being satisfied with distant knowledge and start pursuing intimate communion? Will you let yourself be intoxicated with His love, drunk on His goodness, undone by His beauty?
Will you surrender to oneness? Will you stop trying to maintain control and independence, and instead allow yourself to be merged with Him—branches to the Vine, members of His body, one spirit with the Lord?
Will you choose to dwell in His love and glory? Not just visit. Not just check in occasionally. But DWELL, making your home in Him, letting Him make His home in you too, living in the continuous awareness of His surrounding presence? Will you embrace worship as your lifestyle? Not just singing songs on Sunday, but offering your entire life, every heartbeat, breath and moment, every activity as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing unto Him?
This is the invitation.
It doesn't require special gifting. It doesn't require theological degrees. It doesn't require being "spiritual enough or holy enough." It simply requires a willing heart.
"Here I am, Lord. I'm tired of living at a distance. I'm weary of shallow religion. I'm done with just knowing about You. I want to intimately KNOW You and to dwell with You. I want to be one with You Father. I want to live every moment caught up and surrounded by Your love, and covered by Your glory. I want to become so saturated in Your presence that I smell like heaven, and look like Jesus, as I faithfully carry the weight of Your glory everywhere I go, all for Your glory!"
If that's your heart then you're ready.
A Prayer of Consecration
Father, I come to You today with a hungry heart. Not to perform. Not to prove anything. Not to earn Your love. But simply to RECEIVE. I receive Your invitation to soak in Your presence. I receive the purification process You're taking me through. I receive the oils of preparation You're anointing me with. I receive the holy desire that You're awakening in my spirit. I receive the oneness You've always intended for me. I receive Your love that surrounds me like water in a bath. I receive Your glory that covers me like a cloud.
I say YES to the lifestyle of worship. I say YES to abiding in You as You abide in me. I say YES to dwelling in Your presence and not just visiting. I say YES to being transformed from glory to glory.
I surrender all control. I surrender my independence. I surrender my small plans and limited dreams, and eagerly embrace Your will. I embrace Your ways. I embrace Your timeline. I embrace Your sacred process. Make me ready, Lord. Not rushed. READY. Purify me with the oils of heaven. Beautify me with Your glory. Let me smell like frankincense and myrrh. Let me radiate Your presence. Let me be so drunk on Your love that nothing else quenches or satisfies me. I want to live every day aware of Your nearness. I want to breathe every breath in holy communion with You. I want to see every moment as sacred. I want to be a living sacrifice that which is indeed holy, acceptable and pleasing to You.
This is my reasonable service Lord. This is my joyful offering. This is my deepest heart desire.
To intimately know You and be known by You. To abide and dwell mightily in You. To be ONE Eternally with You For all eternity. In Jesus' great name to You Abba, Father I fervently pray. Amen and Amen!
Closing Thoughts: Welcome Home!
Beloved, you've reached the end of this journey but truly speaking this is just the BEGINNING.
The beginning of a journey into the depths of His heart and a love you've never known. The beginning of intimacy beyond what you've imagined. The beginning of transformation that will continue for eternity.
You are not reading this by accident. The King has been preparing this bath especially for YOU. He's filled it with waters of love. He's perfumed it with oils of heaven and He's lit the candles of His glory. He's arranged the roses of His affection and now He's standing at the door, extending out His hand:
"Come, beloved. Everything is ready. The water is the perfect temperature. The fragrance is prepared. The time is NOW! Come, soak in My love and let Me purify you. Let Me beautify you. Let Me prepare you, not just for a moment, but for eternity. Come, dwell with Me. Live in oneness with Me. Be surrounded by My love. Be covered by My glory. Come home!"
What will you say?
I believe you'll say the only thing a lovesick heart can say:
"Yes, my Beloved. I'm coming. I'm Yours, Forever and always. For Your glory alone."
